Pianist Susan Toman began learning the piano at age three, an enthusiast from the very beginning! Many years of lessons, competitions, and performances later, she completed her ARCTs in piano performance & teaching, followed by a Bachelor of Music in piano at Wheaton College (Illinois). She then earned a Masters of Music at the University of Michigan - where she divided her time equally between piano, fortepiano, and harpsichord,, studying with Louis Nagel, Edward Parmentier, and Penelope Crawford.
While Susan's performing career has moved more towards harp and harpsichord, she continues to teach piano privately, believing in music's powerful ability to communicate and make life a more beautiful place.
